How BuzzStar works
How BuzzStar works.
Your first conversation.
BuzzStar connects you with creators for paid, live video calls. Choose who to talk to, review the available time and price, and join the call when it is your turn.
From profile to face-to-face
Your first BuzzStar call.
Find someone you want to talk to
Browse BuzzStar creators or open a creator’s shared profile link. Read their profile and check the call options available. A profile on the website does not mean that creator is online right now.
Sign in and choose your time
Create your account or sign in. Select from the call lengths offered for that creator. Think about the conversation you want to have and the amount you want to spend.
Review the price before paying
Check the creator, selected duration, and total in the order details. Each creator sets their rate. A queue upgrade, recording, or later extension is a separate purchase with its own price.
Follow your place in the queue
The queue shows your position and estimated wait. Keep the call flow open and watch for your turn. Other calls and queue changes can affect your wait. Review any optional Move Up price before choosing it.
Join your live video call
Allow access to your camera and microphone, then join when prompted. Say hello and get into the conversation. Watch the remaining time. You can purchase more time when an extension is offered, at the displayed extension price.
Find the right format
Plan a call or send a question.
Request a scheduled call
Some creators offer scheduled calls in the app. Choose that option, propose a time, and review the price. Watch the request status for a confirmation or suggested alternative. A pending request is not a confirmed appointment.
Ask for a voice or video reply
Where offered, send a question for a recorded response. Review the reply format, price, and response window first. You do not need to arrange a live call for this option.
Explore messages, bookings, and repliesNo app download required
Join through a creator’s web link.
A creator’s BuzzStar web link opens the fan call flow in your browser. You can choose a call length, review checkout, follow the queue, and connect with camera and microphone access.
You still need an account. Verify your phone number with the code sent to you and complete the signup details if you are new. Use a device that can receive the code and support a video call.
App and browser have different tools
The browser flow supports fan calls. Use the BuzzStar app for creator signup and to explore the messaging and account tools available to you.
Make the minutes count
A little preparation goes a long way.
- Pick one or two things you want to ask. Start with the question that matters most.
- Find a quiet spot and check your internet connection, camera, and microphone.
- Close anything on screen you do not want to share. Keep personal details out of view.
- Decide your spending limit before the call. Check each extra purchase against that limit.
- Respect the creator’s boundaries and keep the conversation appropriate.
Before your first call.
Do I need an account for a browser call?
Yes. An app download is optional for the browser call flow, but an account and phone verification are required. New fans provide their account details during signup.
Does a queue estimate guarantee my call time?
No. It is an estimate. Call lengths, extensions, creator availability, and queue movement can change your wait. Follow the status shown in your queue.
What should I do if a call has a problem?
Check your connection and camera and microphone permissions. For a billing or call issue, review your call history and contact [email protected] with the creator name, call date, and a description of what happened.
